Every day we write another page to the story of our lives through our actions and the choices we make. A few years ago I was dissatisfied with the direction my life was taking, particularly in regard to my health and fitness level, and I passionately searched for a solution.  

 

As the owner and Head Personal Trainer here at Results Fitness Center, I discovered the resolution to a problem that many people have. I was overweight and no matter how much time I spent at the local gym I seemed to be getting nowhere. I tried it all: fat burners, proteins, amino acids, restrictive diets, you name it. I was 300 lbs and had managed to lose a mere 40 lbs in 2 years. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Don’t get me wrong, I felt like a king

even though I was still overweight.

Until one day I looked at a picture of

myself at the beach and realized that

I wasn’t even half way to my desired goal.

 

 

 

 

I felt frustrated and depressed. Around that time, I met a personal trainer by the name of Marcos Sayon who has his own training studio in Alhambra and who helped me achieve one of my goals. He showed me that a person is capable of dropping a large amount of weight by training 3 times a week for 30 to 35 minutes at a time. Three months after I started training with him I was down to 220 lbs.

 

Unfortunately I couldn’t afford to continue training with him and it was then that I decided to put my fitness destiny into my own hands and I received certification as a personal trainer with the same program that my trainer had used. This also inspired me to help others, to change the pages of their life stories and to achieve the results they deserved.

I absolutely love this place!! In just 3 months time I've had amazing results. The way the workouts are set up, are perfectly thought out and designed for maximum results. The entire environment and vibes of the Training Room is just awesome. You feel comfortable and at home, so you feel free to do your absolute best and not be judged. I honestly always look forward to going to this gym, and I have never been the type to get excited for a gym. However, the thing I love the most about the Training Room is the trainers. Erber and his wife are the nicest and most welcoming people ever!! They'll help you every step of the way so that you can reach your full potential. They'll push you and work you, but also make sure you're comfortable and happy. I love this place and recommend it to everybody!

I've been going here for almost a year and I love it!   I even got my husband to go, who barely has time to work out with his busy schedule - and he loves it too.   Erber is fantastic, he is always in a good mood (even at 5am), motivational, and dependable.   He keeps the class sizes very small (most of the time it is under 5 people), and makes sure you are doing everything safely.   The best part is the workout only takes a half an hour.

This is the perfect workout solution for people in a rut, people who don't have a lot of time, people who do a bunch of cardio but can never bring themselves to lift weights on there own, or ANYONE.   If you have half an hour before or after work, want to get or stay in shape, and live in the area, you are silly not to try this place out.    

...you won't need your LA fitness/24 hour membership anymore.

I've been going to The Training Room for a year now.  Initially, I was I thinking of joining a big gym, but I knew I would not know what or how to combine the exercises and I did not want to spend two hours or more at the gym.  The Training Room is exactly what I was looking for. First of all, the trainer Erber and his wife are very nice people. Second, the workouts are created by the trainer. He is always attentive to his clients, making sure the exercises are done correctly.  He motivates and pushes me to complete the exercises. Thirdly,  as soon as I arrive, I start working out and I'm done in 30 minutes.    Only 30 minutes three times a week of HIIT/Tabata is giving me the results I want!  These are a few reasons i love this place.  I highly recommend this place!

The Training Room is a fantastic way to get in shape, stay in shape, and then get in even better shape.  30 minute workouts, 3 times per week (more if you want), so it doesn't take up too much time.  This place is clean, class sizes are small (usually 2-4) and everybody is really nice and helpful.  The workouts are adjusted to your skill level.  Whether you have been an athlete your whole life, or are just getting started, you will get a challenging but do-able workout, and you will get results.

I've never been a gym type of person just because I dislike going to your typical 24hr Fitness or LA Fitness. I dislike having to wait for machines while others "pretend" to be working out and in all honesty I didn't even know what part of my body to work on and if I was even working out the proper way. Anyhow, my cousin received a flyer for this place so we decided to check it out. The first class was free (just to get a feel of what we were getting ourselves into). After the 30 minute workout I was exhausted but was feeling good at the same time. I enjoyed that the class has a maximum of what I believe is 7 people and the trainer (Erber) is attentive on each and everyone of them.

 

What actually made me decide to sign up was simply the fact that Erber tells us what exercise to do and how to do it. If I was doing something wrong, he made sure to let it be known. Erber and his wife makes everyone feel welcomed.

 

The Training Room deals with High-intensity interval training (HIIT), also called High-Intensity Intermittent Exercise (HIIE) or sprint interval training that improved athletic capacity and condition, it also improves glucose metabolism, and improved fat burning.

 

I've been a member for a month now and have noticed that my clothes are starting to fit lose, also some old pieces of clothing that didn't fit anymore actually fit now! I'm beyond excited! This journey hasn't been easy, but The Training Room has made it possible for me to keep focus. They are very motivational and that to me is very important.
